The Association Board of Directors are elected at the Annual Meeting each Fall. Their role is to manage the affairs of the Community. Officers are selected by the Board and serve at the pleasure of the Board. Only the President is required to be a member of the Board.

What is the Role of the Board of Directors and the ACC?
The Sky Mountain Homeowners Association Board of Directors has the responsibility to protect, manage and maintain the community-owned property. This includes the Sky Mountain perimeter and interior greenbelts, common areas such as the islands located in cul-de-sacs, mail kiosks, and entrance monuments, etc.
The Board appoints members to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC), which has the responsibility to monitor homeowner compliance with the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) of our homeowners association. Enforcement of the CC&Rs is the responsibility of the ACC. The CC&Rs exist to ensure the continuation of the standards of residential appearance and property maintenance that is attributed to our neighborhood. The CC&Rs are essential to Sky Mountain remaining an attractive place to live, a community with spectacular lake and mountain views and vistas galore for all to enjoy. Fortunately, in our community self-enforcement of the CC&Rs by the majority of our homeowners is the norm.
