This serves as notice of the next Sky Mountain Homeowners’ Association annual meeting.

Wednesday, September 14, 2022   –   7:00 PM

Virtual Meeting

Just like last year, we will need to have our annual meeting virtually.  Approximately one week prior to the meeting we will send by email instructions for you to log into the meeting by way of Zoom.

If you are unable to attend, please send the attached proxy to the Board Secretary by mail or email.  Instructions are included within the proxy.  We need 1/3 of our homeowners to be represented at the meeting by logging onto our virtual meeting or by their proxy to have a quorum.  We will ask for your vote of approval for the following during the meeting.

·       Approval of the minutes from our 2021 annual meeting

·       Approval of the 2023 budget

·       Election of Directors

Other topics for discussion include:

  *   2022 financial projection

  *   Landscaping projects

  *   Kiosk repairs

  *   ACC issues in neighborhood

 Please contact any Board Member if you have any suggestions for discussion or have any questions.  

We are always in need of more volunteers to serve as directors.   Please let us know if you would like to serve the community by becoming a director.

Virtual Meeting

This year’s annual meeting will be held by way of Zoom.  Sign-on instructions were emailed to each homeowner. If you have not received the instructions, please contact secretary@skymtn.net.

If you are unable to attend, please send the attached proxy to the Board Secretary by email or by dropping it off at a drop box located 4714 172^nd Ct SE. Instructions are included within the proxy. Please do not mail it since it will not arrive in time for meeting.  We need 1/3 of our homeowners to be represented at the meeting by logging onto our virtual meeting or by their proxy to have a quorum.  We will ask for your vote of approval for the following during the meeting.

Sky Mountain Residents,

Effective July 1, 2020 we will have a new Compliance / Fine policy and a new Collection policy. Please familiarize yourselves with new policies. A hard copy was mailed to you mid-February 2020.

There will be a community meeting regarding coyotes.  The meeting will take place at:

Cougar Ridge Elementary School Gym

7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

This meeting is open to homeowner associations, homeowners and residents of the surrounding community.

A discussion and presentation will be led by:

Matthew Stevens

Assistant District Supervisor / Wildlife Biologist

USDA-APHIS-Wildlife Services

There is high level of concerns due to the increased sightings of coyotes in our neighborhoods.  Some people have requested information and guidance to deal with these concerns.  Some have reached out to various government agencies and a homeowner was able to contact Matthew Stevens with the USDA.  Mr. Stevens has specialized knowledge in urban coyote conflict issues.  He seems to be very knowledgeable of topics that directly relate to the wildlife conflict in our communities.  Mr. Stevens regularly visits community groups to give presentations about urban coyotes.  His presentation will be extremely beneficial for all those interested in hearing about how urban coyotes live, what steps can be taken in our neighborhoods to reduce negative coyote interaction, and what options are available to us for dealing with the current coyote issues we face.

Sky Mountain Residents,

Our annual spring tree and yard debris pickup will be happening on Monday May 21st.  Please no branches over 6 inches in diameter and no root balls.

Have your debris out on the curb by 7pm on Sunday May 20th.

We will soon be sending out the dues statement for the 2017 year.  The dues for this year remain at $150.

Please plan on attending the meeting, which will give you an opportunity to find out what is happening in the community.  In addition, you will be able to meet new neighbors who have moved into Sky Mountain since our last meeting. For more information, last year’s minutes are found here.
